2.0 Operations
This three-day course explains the fundamentals of Managed Pressure Drilling and how the technology is utilized for engineering and operations. This course includes a comprehensive overview of surface and marine MPD equipment, equipment performance, and limitations. The course provides an understanding of equivalent mud weight (EMW) targets, observation points in drilling operations, MPD concepts and well control, including kick indicators and well barriers.

3.0 Supervisory
This five-day comprehensive course offers in-depth knowledge of MPD and deepwater MPD operations. In addition to Surface Backpressure (SBP) MPD applications, Mud Cap Drilling (MCD), Dual Gradient Drilling (DGD), Continuous Circulation, and Multi-Phase Low Head applications are covered as well.
